Tiny Letter
We send occasional email updates to let our friends and family know how (and what) we're doing. These are usually quick, unedited thoughts, with occasional reflection on something we're learning.
Our Blog
We use our blog for stories that have a bit of a longer shelf life. You'll see reflections on what we're learning, significant milestones (like sleeping in our own bed), and posts that are more media-rich.
Team Arequipa
We often get the question, how did you end up in Arequipa? You can learn more about our story, what we do as a team, and subscribe to our newsletter over on our team site.
Photography 101
They say the best camera in the world is the one you have with you. We generally agree, which is why many of these photos were taken with our iPhones. Thankfully, Katie also dabbles in the art of photography with a Canon SLR. Our photo galleries are a combination of the two.
Hi, we're the Daggetts.
We live in Arequipa, a city of one million people in southern Peru. We're here because we believe that God is rescuing, healing, and transforming the world. Because of Jesus of Nazareth’s life, death, and resurrection, we believe all humans everywhere are invited to be a part of new creation. This new reality looks like hope, joy, peace, grace, salvation, reconciliation, justice seeping its way into the brokenness, hurt, and chaos of the old reality.
We work with small communities of faith and hope that meet in homes. We work with the Christian Urban Development Association. And we direct Harding University Latin America.
